Slipper Sleigh Arrival

Santa needed the big sleigh, so your elf came in a slipper pulled by a team of stuffed animal reindeer.

A 5-minute idea for The Elf on the Shelf® or any elf doll.

  • All ages

What you need

  • a slipper
  • a few stuffed animals
  • toilet paper

How to set it up

  1. Line up stuffed animals in pairs, like reindeer.
  2. Run a long strip of toilet paper from the front pair back to a slipper as reins.
  3. Seat your elf in the slipper with the reins draped over their hands.

Safety check

Set the sleigh up away from hallways, doorways and stairs, so nobody trips over the team at night. Toilet paper reins tear easily, so there's nothing for little ones to get tangled in. How we check

Note from your elf: Sleigh parked. Reindeer fed. Slipper slightly squished.
