Snow Globe Arrival

A snow globe appeared overnight, with your elf inside, sitting in a little North Pole snow.

A 5-minute idea for The Elf on the Shelf® or any elf doll.

What you need

  • a large clear bowl
  • a plate
  • cotton balls

How to set it up

  1. Place your elf on a plate with a few cotton balls around their feet.
  2. Turn a large clear bowl upside down over them.
  3. Scatter more cotton around the base as fresh snow.

Safety check

Cotton balls can end up in little mouths, and glass can break. With a baby or toddler in the house, use a plastic bowl and set the globe where they can see it but not reach it. How we check

Note from your elf: I brought North Pole snow. Don't worry, it's the dry kind.
