Two-Elf Snowball Fight

Two elves, two forts, a pile of toilet paper snowballs and one white flag.

A 5-minute idea for The Elf on the Shelf® or any elf doll.

  • Needs 2 elves
  • 5 min
  • A little mess
  • Easy
  • All ages

What you need

  • toilet paper
  • two shoeboxes or books
  • a pencil

How to set it up

  1. Crumple toilet paper into small snowballs and build two forts from shoeboxes or books.
  2. Put an elf behind each fort, with a snowball tucked under one arm.
  3. Poke a pencil through a square of toilet paper for a white flag and lean it on one elf.

Safety check

For toddlers, use a few sheets per snowball so each is too big for a little mouth, and an unsharpened pencil for the flagpole. How we check

Two elf dolls behind small box forts with toilet paper snowballs between them, one leaning on a pencil with a white toilet paper flag.

Note from your elf: Okay, okay, I surrender! Rematch tonight, and this time I get the bigger fort.
